I recently took the opportunity to review how tickets were sold for a charity that I am involved with. Previously, a registration form linked to a CRM was used, but the registration process wasn’t as streamlined as it could be, and it relied on someone knowing how to edit the form/CRM every time a new event was set up (so not very future proof if there was a change of personnel).
So began the process of testing various ticketing software. I trialled five software apps before coming across TicketTailor. Well, the best was saved till last! It was a dream to use and, very important to me was the prompt and comprehensive help when needed.
TicketTailor met the charity’s needs because:
- it is intuitively easy to create an event from scratch
- it is straightforward to customise, so the end aesthetics are attractive to view – either standalone or embedded into a website
- where help was needed, this was easy to access – with a chatbot responding initially, but quick to escalate to a human being. I happened to be doing some testing over a weekend and didn’t expect a response from an actual person, but was pleasantly surprised when this happened!
- Many charities aren’t flush with money and so the 50% discount on fees for non-profits is welcome
- There is a free check-in app for scanning ticket QR codes, but also coupled with the ability to print off a ‘Door List’ with all attendees. Some software I trialled only had the ability to print the ticket purchaser (not all attendees) – or it was a complex method to extract all attendees!
- The money is paid directly into a bank account which helps with cashflow
There are so many more features to Ticket Tailor, and I have just highlighted a few. If you’re in the market for changing your ticketing software, why not trial Ticket Tailor. You’re welcome to contact me with any queries.
